RiverLures History

Riverlures Kayak Adventure​ is a family run business.  Located in the beautiful canal town of Grand Rapids, Ohio, within walking distance of Providence Dam, which was built to fill the Miami and Erie Canals. The Maumee River also provides some of the best fishing in Northwest Ohio.

The Maumee River has many islands, stream in-lets, and tributaries that provide excellent spawning ground for sport fish such as walleye, small-mouth, large mouth, crappie, bluegill and sunfish as well as carp, channel cat, bullhead and shovelhead that can weigh as much as 50 lbs. 
Our goal has always been to bring awareness to our beautiful Maumee river from the Grand Rapids area up & down the river.
